Utica - Ms. Marian F. Bechard Itotia, 69, of Hillcrest Manor Court, Utica and formerly of Taft Ave., Frankfort passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008 in St. Luke's Home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in New Hartford on June 20, 1939. She attended New Hartford schools and was a graduate of New Hartford High School. Ms. Itotia was a Supervisor for Abelove's Linen and later for Tartan of Utica for over 40 years of dedicated service. She was a former communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of New York Teamsters Local #182. Marian is survived by her beloved family, one daughter, Simone Holloway of Utica; one son, Marcus Holloway of Frankfort, her granddaughter, Alexandra Holloway and several cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Rico A. Holloway on September 9, 1987 Her funeral will be held at the convenience of the family at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort. Interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery. Marian's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of Slocum-Dickson Medical Center and St. Luke's Home and Hospice, Dr. Saltana Rajia for the wonderful care and compassion shown to her during her illness and passing.
