Herkimer - Mrs. Virginia F. Dychko Herkimer - Mrs. Virginia F. Dychko, 87, of 340 King St passed away Sunday, August 24, 2008 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. She was born in Herkimer on October 14, 1920, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Vincent and she attended Herkimer schools. She was married to Michael Dychko on October 6, 1945 in St. Joseph's Church, Herkimer. Mr. Dychko passed away on April 3, 1985. She was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church. Virginia is survived by one daughter & son in law, Patricia & James Stalnaker of Fairport, NY; one son, Michael Dychko & his friend, Patricia Sullivan of Herkimer; one sister, Violet Cook of Dolgeville; two granddaughters, Lonna & her husband, John Giacovelli and Michele Dychko; one great grandson, John Giacovelli and several nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Vincent and Michael Vincent. Her funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM in the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 11:00AM - 1:00PM at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home. Contributions in Virginia's memory may be made to MOVAC.
