Frankfort - Mrs. Mary A. Gatto, 93, of 709 S. Frankfort St passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in Masonic Home. She was born in Frankfort on September 20, 1914, the daughter of the late Achille John and Anna Abato Kipper and she attended Frankfort schools. She was married to Joseph Nicholas Gatto on November 1, 1931 in St. Mary's Church. Mr. Gatto passed away on December 9, 2007. Mary was a Sales Clerk for the Frankfort 5 & 10 Store, Main St, Frankfort for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of it's Altar Rosary Society and the St. Francis Di Paolo Society Aux. Mary is survived by three daughters and one son in law, Elvira & Frank Potenza, Patty Loiacano and Gloria Cioch all of Frankfort; one son and daughter in law, Pat & Santina Gatto of Frankfort, two brothers and sisters in law, Frank & Mary Kipper of Frankfort and Louis & Mary Kipper of FL; her sisters in law, Lena Kipper and Theresa Nurod; grandchildren, John Burrell, Keith Burrell, Frank Burrell, Nick Burrell, Lori Ann & her husband, Brian Poff, Paul & his wife, Shirley Loiacano, Debora Loiacano, Joseph & his wife, Karen Loiacano, Marie & her husband, Brian Grippe, Frank & his wife, Gina Potenza, Niki Potenza, Gloria & her husband, Robert Shepard, Stephanie Cioch, Violet & her husband, Robert Morris, Joseph Gatto and John Gatto; twenty two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one daughter, Ann Burrell on May 24, 1991, one grandson, Gary Burrell and three sons in law, John Burrell, Paul Loiacano and Steve Cioch. Her funeral will be held Friday morning at 9:00 from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 9:30 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
