Frankfort - Mrs. Phyllis T. Tuzzolino, 78, of 315 Third Ave passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008 peacefully in her home. She was born in Herkimer on February 12, 1930, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anastasia Kosinski and she attended Herkimer schools. She was married to Anthony "Tucker" Tuzzolino on August 16, 1947 in St. Joseph's Church, Herkimer. Mr. Tuzzolino passed away on June 18, 1990. Phyllis was employed as a Nurses Aide for Mohawk Valley Nursing Home, Ilion for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Phyllis is survived by one son, Philip Tuzzolino of St. Petersburg, FL; three daughters and one son in law, Carol Witkowski of Rome, Linda & John Locatelli of Forest, VA and Sandra Tuzzolino of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Theodore, Gina, Stacey, Matthew, Josh, Andrew, Heather, John, Brandyn, Stephen, Anthony and Kristen; five great grand children; her in laws, Mary Sportello, Josephine Ruffalo and Celia & Richard Averson and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters, Ida, Josephine and Violet and two brothers, Joseph and Anthony. Her funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:00 am in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Barratt, pastor. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 4-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
