Ms. Genevieve Chick Angelicchio Herkimer - Ms. Genevieve Chick Angelicchio, 79, of 239 William St passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. She was born in Herkimer on March 29, 1928, the daughter of the late Antonio "Tony" and Maria Jennie Colonna Angelicchio. She attended Herkimer schools and graduated from Herkimer High School with the class of 1947. Chick was employed as a Medical Secretary for Dr. Golden's Office, Herkimer for over 32 years until her retirement in 1980. She was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church. Chick is survived by her beloved family, one brother, Bernard "Billy" Angelicchio of Herkimer; three sisters & brothers in law, Rose & Stanley Nobles of Utica, Louise & John Gardinier of E. Herkimer and Donna & Michael Aceto of Herkimer; one sister in law, Frances Angelicchio of Ilion and several cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Vito Angelicchio on November 24, 1994 and Dominick "Mickey" Angelicchio on January 30, 1998 and two sisters, Lucy Lidano on March 14, 2000 and Antoinette Angelicchio on March 28, 2000. Her funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 am from the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer and at 10:00 am in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato. Spring interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 5-8 at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home.
