Mr. James Rolchigo Schuyler - Frankfort - Mr. James F. Rolchigo, 88, of 3241 St Rt 5 passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home. He was born in Frankfort on April 16, 1919, the son of the late Philip and Marianne Tocco Rolchigo and he attended Frankfort schools. Jim served with the US Army during World War II in the Africa Campaign and later in Italy and was Honorably Discharged on December 4, 1944. He was married to Bernice Flathers Reape. Bernice passed away in 1990. Mr. Rolchigo was the owner and operator of Jim's Barber Shop, East Clark St, Ilion for many years. He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of the D.A.V. Stars & Strips Chapter 82, Utica. James is survived by his step children, Bernard Reape of Newport and Betty Manore of CA; two sisters, Mary DiCamillo of Frankfort and Florence Gentile of Utica; one brother, Carl Rolchigo of Utica and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his step son, Gerald Reape; four brothers, Steve Rolchigo, Vito Rolchigo, Joe Rolchigo and Philip Rolchigo and two sisters, Mamie Luggerio Scaparo and Frances Gifford. His funeral will be held Monday morning at 11:00 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 11:30 am in Church of The Annunciation where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Monday, morning from 9-11 AM at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
