Obituary of Anne T. Tamburro

Ms. Anne T. Tamburro Frankfort - Ms. Anne T. Tamburro, 86, of 309 S. Litchfield St passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. She was born in Frankfort on April 18, 1921, the daughter of the late Peter and Jennie Jackson Tamburro and she attended Frankfort schools. Annie was employed as a seamstress for Duofold, Mohawk for 42 years until her retirement in 1983. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Annie's life was dedicated to caring for her brothers and sisters and their families. Aunt Annie was like a second mother to all and was happiest when spending time with them. The family home on Litchfield St. was always a gathering place for family and friends, where food, laughter and love was shared. Anne is survived by her loving nephews and nieces, Joe Tamburro, Peter Tamburro, Chuck Ingerham, Tommy Ingraham, Donald Ingerham, Pat Ingerham, Jim Ingerham, Joe Ingerham, Nancy Krouse and Dolores Smith and their families. She was predeceased by four brothers, James Tamburro, Michael Tamburro, Dominick Tamburro and Oscar Tamburro and three sisters, Rose Ingraham, Mary Cacciatore and Nancy Tamburro. Her funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 12:00 pm from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 12:30 pm in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 and Saturday morning from 11:00 until the time of services at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Contributions in Anne's memory may be made to All Souls Chapel of Mt. Olivet Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Annie's nieces and nephews would like to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses of St. Elizabeth's Medical Center's ICU for the wonderful care and compassion shown to her during her illness and passing.
