Mrs. Frances R. Eramo. Albany-Herkimer-Frankfort - Mrs. Frances R. Eramo, 94, of Albany formerly of Herkimer and Frankfort passed away Thursday, September 27, 2007 in Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center, Albany. She was born in Frankfort on August 12, 1913, the daughter of the late Fred and Teresa Sylvester Vivacqua and she attended Frankfort schools. She was married to Dominick J. Eramo on December 1, 1945 in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Mr. Eramo passed away on March 28, 1989. Frances was employed as a seamstress for Jack Gordon Dress Factory, Herkimer for many years until her retirement in 1962. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of and Past President of the V.F.W Post #4915 Aux., the Crafty Ladies of Sts. Anthony & Joseph Church and the TR George Post Aux and served as Past President. At one time Frances served as Director of Herkimer Senior Citizens and was a Cub Scout and Brownie Leader for many years. In 1971, Frances was awarded Zonta Club's Woman of the Year. Frances is survived by her children, John & his wife, Nancy Eramo of Ballston Spa and Donna & her husband, Joseph Bonacquisti of Castleton; her grandchildren, David Eramo, Tina Eramo, Gina Bonacquisti and Dana & her husband, Jason Kentzel; two great grandchildsons, Zachary Kentzel and Joseph Paul Kentzel; two sisters, Mary Foglia and Agnes Wilk both of Frankfort; three brothers & one sister in law, James Vivacqua and Sid Vivacqua both of Frankfort and Fred & Ann Vivacqua of Ilion; her in laws, Dolores Vivacqua, Mary Vivacqua and Lydia Vivacqua all of Frankfort and Evelyn Eramo of Mohawk and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by six brothers, Nicholas Vivacqua, George Vivacqua, Carl Vivacqua, Frank Vivacqua, Salvatore Vivacqua and Joseph Vivacqua. Her funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 12:00 pm from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 12:30 pm in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, pastor emeritus. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 10:00 - 12:00 noon at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
