Mrs. Grace Julia Bono
Frankfort - Mrs. Grace Julia Bono, 100, of 104 Second Ave passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.
She was born in Frankfort on February 21, 1907, the daughter of the late Sylvester and Rosalia Randazzo Diliberto and she attended Frankfort schools. She was married to John Bono on September 22, 1928 in St. Mary's Church. Mr. Bono passed away on October 14, 1952. Mrs. Bono was employed as a Spring Winder for Remington Rand, Ilion and later Univac, Ilion Plant until retirement in 1972 after 50 years of dedicated service. She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of the Young At Heart Senior Citizens.
Grace is survived by three sisters, Tina Costanzo of Frankfort, Lena Cicculli of Enon, OH and Betty Caparusso of Frankfort; three brothers & sisters in law, James & Inez Diliberto of Utica, Joseph & Nancy Diliberto of Frankfort and Benny & Dot Diliberto of Rome; her sister in law, Martha M. Diliberto of Frankfort; her very special and dedicated niece, Prudy & and her husband, Ted Molling of Frankfort and their family, Tina, Michael & Jackson Bumbolo, Canastota and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, Paul Diliberto, Silver Diliberto, Sam Diliberto and Nick Diliberto and her very close nephew, Ted Molling II.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9:00 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 9:30 am in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, Pastor Emeritus. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Members of the Young at Heart Senior Citizens will meet Tuesday at 4:30 at the funeral home. Contributions in Grace's memory may be made to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center's Emergency Room or the Folts Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
