Mr. Anthony Pagliaro
Vernon Center - N Utica - Mr. Anthony Pagliaro, 98, of 3659 Arquint Rd, Vernon Center formerly of N.Utica passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007 in Presbyterian Home Of CNY.
He was born in Utica on January 17, 1909, the son of the late Pietro and Maria Cimino Pagliaro and he attended Utica schools. He was married to Providenza Bessie Gumina on September 13, 1930 in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Bessie passed away on October 21, 1981. Mr. Pagliaro was a Baker for Wonder Bakery, Utica for many years until his retirement in 1969. He was a Communicant of St. Peter's Church, N. Utica and a member of the Bakery & Confectionary Union.
Anthony is survived by his grandchildren, Lisa & her husband, Bruce Nelson with whom he resided in Vernon Center, Richard & his wife, Nicole Hart of Rome, Peter Narkon and Anthony Narkon both of North Utica; two great granddaughters, Veronika Nelson and Victoria Nelson several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two daughters, Marie Narkon on December 3, 1993 and Sarah Pagliaro Hart on September 15, 1999, three brothers, Peter Pagliaro, Frank Pagliaro and Joseph Pagliaro and one sister, Theresa Moracco.
His funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00 in St. Peter's Church, 422 Coventry Ave. N.Utica where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Durant, pastor. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Saturday from 4-7 at the Owens-Pavlot Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort
