Mr. Michael J. Noffer Schuyler - Mr. Michael J. Noffer, 47, of 4196 State Rt 5 passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Ilion on May 22, 1959, the son of James and Nancy Bower Noffer. He attended Herkimer schools and graduated from Herkimer High School with the class of 1977. Mike was married to Christine Jackson on November 20, 1993 in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Mr. Noffer was a driver for Carparelli Brothers, Utica for many years. He was later employed as a driver for CAP Metals, Frankfort and was the owner and operator of Noffer's Motors and Noffer Contracting, Rt 5, Schuyler. He was a member of Teamsters Local #182, Utica. Mike loved to spend time with his grandsons, work with cars and do concrete work for Swan Pools. He was always there for his friends and family, willing to lend a helping hand. Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Christine Noffer; two sons & one daughter in law, Charles & Shannon Eaker Jr of Mohawk and Michael Jackson of Schuyler; his parents, James & his wife, Barbara Noffer of Rome, and Nancy & her husband, Christopher Monohan of Ilion; his four cherished grandsons, Austin Eaker, Andrew Matthews, Zachary Eaker and Tyler Eaker; two brothers & sisters in law, Daniel & Dawn Noffer of Little Falls, and Timothy & Christie Noffer of Ilion; two sisters & two brothers in law, Diane & Donald Dicob of Mohawk, and Susan & Mike's best buddy, Delbert Ball of Herkimer; his mother in law, Beverly Jackson & Harold Dewhurst of New Hartford; his grandmother in law, Wanda Taylor of West Winfield; his in laws, Roni & John Ramsey of VA, Steven & Theresa Cristallo of Newport, Patty & Gary Cosby of AL, Joseph & Cresta Jackson of Newport and Sandra Champagne of Ilion; his nieces and nephews, Jason & Katrina, Christina & Samantha Noffer of Ilion, Joseph & Mariah, Austin, Keilen & Isabella Moshier of Ilion, Bradford Sherwood & Megan Tolman of Mohawk, Jennifer & Taylor Lee Dicob of Mohawk, Jordon, Kirsten & Cody Noffer of Frankfort and Erika & Megan Ball of Herkimer; his very special friends, William Cooper, Mike Putnam, Paul Castle, Peter Massocco, Michael Hall, Todd & Jeff Stephenson and Debbie & Shawn Recore; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends to numerous to mention. His funeral will be held Monday morning at 11:00 in the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with Deacon James Bower, officiating.
