Mrs. Antonette Latella Frankfort - Mrs. Antonette Latella, 87, of 126 First Ave passed away Sunday, December 10, 2006 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. She was born in Little Falls on May 21, 1919, the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Wroblewski and she attended schools there. She was married to Carl J. Latella on February 13, 1943 in the Naval Chapel, Chicago, IL. Mr. Latella passed away on July 20, 1982. Mrs. Latella was at one time employed as a seamstress for Derby Sportswear, Herkimer and later as a home health aide for Catholic Charities until her retirement in 1994. She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Antonette is survived by one daughter & son in law, Carol & Albert Callucci of Saratoga Springs; two sons & daughters in law, Joseph & Shawn Latella and Carl & Linda Latella, all of Frankfort; twelve grandchildren, Lisa & her husband, Patrick Brady, Frank Callucci, Christine & her husband, Brian Joyce, Sharon & her husband, Wayne Pritchard, Joseph C. Latella and his fiancee, Renay Bingham, Brian & his wife, Melissa Latella, Sara & her husband, Jason Halliburton, Michael Latella, Brenda Latella, Carl Latella Jr, Geno Latella and Matthew Latella; thirteen great grandchildren, Daniel Brady, Patrick Brady, Erin Brady, Kevin Joyce, Brendon Joyce, Catherine Joyce, Wayne Pritchard III, Jeffrey Pritchard, Jerry Pritchard, Joseph Daniel Latella, Landon Scott Latella, Sydney Bingham and Devyn Bingham; her in laws, Paul & Catherine Latella, Mamie Diller and James Treen; her very special friend, Bess Eychner and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one great granddaughter, Patrice Pritchard in November of 1990, two brothers, PFC Edward Wroblewski KIA US Army WWII and Steven Wroblewski and one sister, Tillie Przydatek. Her funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9:00 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 9:30 am in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Antonette's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home's 4th floor and St. Luke's Memorial Hospital especially Dr. Steve La Grant, for the wonderful care and compassion shown to her during her illness and passing.
