Mr. John J. Pry
Frankfort Center - Mr. John J. Pry, 83 peacefully focused his eyes to heaven and bid a farewell to the magnificent universe on Tuesday, October 3, 2006.
He was born in Utica on July 14, 1923, the son of the late Vincent and Nelli Pryputniewicz and he attended Utica schools. He was married to Gloria Bulinski on May 29, 1948 in St. Theresa's Church, Frankfort Center. Mr. Pry was a machinist for Chicago Pneumatic, Utica. He was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a former Communicant of St. Theresa's Church, Frankfort Center and served as a volunteer firefighter with the Frankfort Center Fire Department. John was an outstanding cook, hunter, fisherman and family man. He was a good man with a generous spirit who was dedicated to those he loved. John's family always enjoyed listening to his adventures with the Civilian Conservation Corp and his experiences as a sportsman. He was as comfortable in the woods as he was at home or on the dance floor doing the Polka with the love of his life, Gloria. We all love and miss you, Tata.
John is survived by his ever present and loving wife of 59 years, Gloria Pry; three children, Michael Pry, Marlene Sanfilippo and Mark Pry; his precious sister, Carmela Kazowka, eight grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
