Frankfort - Goldsboro, NC- Mrs. Barbara Louise Johnson Henrickson Spellen, 51, of 553 Slickrock Rd Goldsboro, NC formerly of Frankfort passed away Sunday, June 4, 2006 in Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro.
She was born in Bridgeport, CT on September 19, 1954, the daughter of the late Floyd D. and Louise Snyder Johnson and she attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School with the Class of 1974. She was married to Peyton Spellen in In Goldsboro, NC. She was at one time a member of Frankfort United Methodist Church.
Barbara Louise is survived by her husband, Peyton Spellen; one daughter & son in law, Kerri Ann & Brian Eckes of Wendell, NC; one son, Michael Charles Henrickson of Goldsboro, NC; her granddaughter, Cailey Avian Henrickson; seven brothers & four sisters in law, Stephen & Amy Johnson of Gulfport, MS, Douglas Johnson of Utica, Kenneth Johnson of Albany, Dennis & Sybil Johnson of Utica, Floyd & Rachel Johnson of Herkimer, 1SG Robert Johnson US Army of Sylvan Beach and Philip & Renee Johnson of Schuyler; one sister & brother in law, Diane & Ken Treen of Ilion and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 12:30 pm in the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with the Rev. Robert Wollaber, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Saturday morning from 11:00 until time of services at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
