Mrs. Theresa V. Harris
Frankfort - Mrs. Theresa V. Harris, 78, of 233 Mann St passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2006 in St. Luke´s Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Ilion on July 29, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary De Luke Barberio. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School with the Class of 1944. She was married to Robert H. Harris on July 7, 1956 in St. Mary´s Church. Mr. Harris passed away on April 1, 2005. Mrs. Harris was the Payroll Clerk for Frankfort Schuyler Central School for many years until her retirement in 1989. She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church and a member of the American Legion Post #845 Aux. and the St. Francis Di Paolo Society Aux.
Theresa is survived by two sons & one daughter in law, Robert Harris & his friend, Mary Bowlanowski and Mark & Julie Harris all of Frankfort; three granddaughters, Dina Marie Tedesco, Rebecca Lynn Harris and Juliana Rose Harris; one sister & brother in law, Julia & Steve Eskoff of Bloomfield Hills, MI; her in laws, Mary Barberio, George "Shank" Green and Dorothy Harris; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Dominick Barberio in 1974 and Gregory Barberio in 1985 and five sisters, Catherine Paratore in 1968, Dorothy Jacopelle in 1968, Rose Barberio in 1998, Mary Frances "Chick" Green in 2001 and Josephine Cortez in 2001; her niece, Mary Jean Paratore Nikolassy in 1991 and her nephew, George Green Jr in 2004.
Her funeral will be held Friday morning at 9:30 from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:00 in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc . Members of the American Legion Post #845 Aux. and the St. Francis Di Paolo Society Aux., will meet Thursday afternoon at 3:30 at the funeral home for services.
