Mrs. Nancy Cress Mohawk - Mrs. Nancy Cress, 87, formerly of Bushnell St passed away Thursday, April 6, 2006 in Folts Home. She was born in Herkimer on April 15, 1918, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Angela Sestito Sanganetti and she attended Herkimer Schools and graduated from Herkimer High School. She was married to Everett Cress on April 29, 1957 in Herkimer. Mr. Cress passed away on November 19, 1985. Mrs. Cress was employed in the Payroll Dept. for Chicago Pneumatic, Utica for many years. She was a Communicant of Sts. Anthony And Joseph Church and Blessed Sacrament Church. Nancy is survived by her sister-in-law, Phoebe Sanganetti, Herkimer and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by six sisters, Frances Sanganetti, Angelina Falzarano, Clara Maiolo, Theresa Maddy, Antoinette Dalia and Mary Devivo and four brothers, Joseph Sanganetti, Nicholas Sanganetti, Dominick Sanganetti and Salvatore "Savey" Sanganetti. Her funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 am from the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer and at 10:00 am in Sts. Anthony And Joseph Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, Pastor. Interment will be in Mohawk Cemetery.
