Mr. David B. Stark
Frankfort - Mr. David B. Stark, 68, of 301 S. Litchfield St passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 30, 2006 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.
He was born in Frankfort on December 6, 1937, the son of the late Jerry and Evelyn Kendall Marvin and he attended Frankfort schools, graduating from Frankfort Schuyler High School with the class of 1955. David served with the National Guard, Mohawk Armory for many years. He was married to Rosalie Campulugo on September 20, 1958 in St. Mary´s Church, Frankfort. He was at one time employed by Chicago Pnuematic and later as the Head Custodian for West Frankfort Elemetary School for many years until his retirement in 1996. He was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church and a member American Legion Post #845, the St. Francis Di Paolo Society and an exempt member of the Frankfort Volunteer Fire Department.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalie Stark; one son, Jeffrey Stark of Herkimer; three daughters & sons in law, Kim & Rick Bernier, Rosalie & Joseph Swienton all of Frankfort and Kristin & Marcus Moulton of Havelock, NC; his grandchildren, Luke Perry of Ilion, Holly Perry, Allison Ganey, Joseph Swienton, James Swienton all of Frankfort, Rhiannon Stark of Herkimer, Tyler Cummings, Kyle Moulton, Jackson Moulton all of Havelock, NC; two great grandchildren, Andrew Perry and Jazper Perry; his step sister, Nore Martin of Old Forge; his in laws, Josephine & Hale Chauvin of Frankfort and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
His funeral will be held Monday morning at 10:30 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 11:00 am in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas, Pastor. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Sunday from 5-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Members of the American Legion will meet Sunday evening at 5:30, the St. Francis Society at 6:00 and the Frankfort Volunteer Fire Department at 6:30 at the funeral home for services.
