Mrs. Lucy Paratore Frankfort - Mrs. Lucy Paratore, 93, Formerly of Frankfort St passed away Saturday, February 4, 2006 in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home. She was born in Brooklyn on April 8, 1912, the daughter of the late Rocco and Mary Cafarelli Fanelli and she attended Utica Schools. She was married to Carl Paratore on June 4, 1932 in St. Mary Of Mt. Carmel, Utica. Mr. Paratore passed away on November 4, 1974. Mrs. Paratore was a seamstress for many area dress factories and retired in 1974. She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church and a member of it's Altar Rosary Society, the Columbianna Society, the Addolorata Society, International Ladies Garment Workers Union and the Young At Heart Senior Citizens. Lucy is survived by two sons & daughters in law, Carl & Patricia Paratore of Frankfort and Salvatore & Roseann Paratore of Reston, VA; her grandchildren, Patricia & Anthony Tresoline, Carl & Kelly Paratore, Carla & Gordon Vercoe and Andrew & Renee Paratore; six great grandchildren, Ashley Marie Tresoline, Evan Paratore, Bryce Paratore, Garrett Vercoe, Michael Paratore and Rebecca Paratore; her in laws, Mary Costanza, Vito Paratore, Frank Paratore and Rose & Pat Guarniere all of Frankfort and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one daughter, Rosemary D. Paratore on February 27, 2000, one granddaughter, Nicki Paratore in 2000, one brother, Dominick Fanelli and one sister, Isabelle Colosimo. Her funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her nephew, the Rev. Felix Colosimo. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Monday from 4-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Members of the Young At Heart Senior Citizens and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union will meet Monday afternoon at 4:10 at the funeral home for services.
