Mr. Anthony Tripoli Schuyler - Mr. Anthony Tripoli, 79, of 480 Carder Lane passed away peacefully Monday, January 16, 2006 in his home. He was born in Frankfort on April 24, 1926, the son of the late Thomas and Florence Sgroi Tripple and he attended Frankfort schools. He served with the US Navy during World War II and was Honorably Discharged on March 30, 1948 as a Seaman First Class. Anthony was married to Beatrice Catalano on October 16, 1948 in St. John The Baptist Church, Rome, a blessed union of 57 years. Mr. Tripoli was a Machinist for Revere Copper & Brass, Rome until his retirement in 1986 after 38 years of dedicated service. Mr. and Mrs. Tripoli were the owners and operators of Tripoli Farms, Schuyler for many years. He was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Beatrice Tripoli; three sons & daughters in law, Thomas & Dorothy Tripoli of Schuyler, Larry & Kathy Tripoli of Frankfort and David & Linda Tripoli of Schuyler; his grandchildren, Jessica, Deena, Jared, Anne, Katie, David, Theresa and Daniel; one sister, Florence Loiacono of Frankfort; one brother & sister in law, Joseph & Shirley Tripple of Schuyler; eight grandchildren; his special niece, Janet Belmont; his in laws, Marie George of Rome, John & Dolores Catalano of Rome and Eva Tripple of Mohawk and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by four sisters, Mary Bommarito, Josephine Tripple, Mamie Bereza and Sarah Agastaro and three brothers, Charles Tripple, Michael Tripple and John Tripoli. Funeral services for Anthony and his sister, Josephine Tripple will be held Friday at 12:30 pm from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 1:00 pm in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 7-9 and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
