Obituary of Cosmo Lombardo

Mr. Cosmo Lombardo Frankfort - Mr. Cosmo Lombardo, 65, of 117 E. Orchard St passed away peacefully Saturday, July 9, 2005 in his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Montelepre, Province Of Palermo, Sicily on May 28, 1940, the son of the late Paul and Lucia Sapienza Lombardo and attended schools there. It was in Sicily Cosmo learned his masonary trade. He was married to Gina Sapienza on October 28, 1962 in Sicily. Mr. Lombardo was a mason contractor and the owner amd operator of Cosmo Lombardo & Son Masonary, Frankfort for many years. He was a member of Christian Assembly Of Schuyler. Cosmo is survived by his beloved wife, Gina Lombardo; two daughters & sons in law, Lucia & Mario Tinervia of Frankfort and Agatha & Fred Pierce of St. Johnsville; one son & daughter in law, John Paul & Heather Lombardo of Frankfort; his cherisehed grandchildren, Anthony, Gabriel and Lauryn; five brothers & sisters and several nieces, nephews and cousins in Sicily . He was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Lombardo on August 17, 1987. His funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 am in Christian Assembly Of Schuyler, Rt. 5, Schuyler with the Rev. Robert Burge, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Oak View Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Monday evening from 4-9 from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
