Mrs. Rose Scaparo
Port Orange, FL - Frankfort - Mrs.Rose Scaparo, 84, of 6099 Pheasant Ridge Dr passed away peacefully, Monday, April 25, 2005 in her daughter and son in law's home in Port Orange.
She was born in Utica on December 13, 1920, the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette Bucenard Aiello and she attended Utica schools. She was united in married to Philip Scaparo on June 20, 1942 in St. Mary Of Mt. Carmel Church, Utica. Her loving husband, Philip passed away on March 6, 1999. She was a devout Catholic and prayed and said the rosary every day for family and friends. She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church and a member of it's Altar Rosary Society and the Friends Of The Frankfort Library. She was the loving wife of Philip for 57 years and raised two wonderful children, Josie and Charlie, who remember her devoting all her time to them. She continued her devotion to family with her four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren by always setting aside time to play with them and listen to them. For the past five years, she has resided in Florida with her extremely devoted daughter, Josie. She had a special bond with her granddaughter Tammy, who showered her with love and attention and was her guardian angel on earth. She will be missed by her family.
Rose is survived by her beloved children, one daughter & son in law, Josephine & Richard De Tore of Port Orange, FL; one son & daughter in law, Charles & Darlene Scaparo of Frankfort; two brothers and one sister in law, Frank & Betty Aiello of Frankfort and Joseph Aiello of Utica; her cherished grandchildren, Dr Joanne & her husband, Eric Nakamura, Dr Tammy De Tore, Charles & his wife, Jennifer Scaparo and Gina Scaparo; two great grandchildren, Emily Nakamura and Luke Richard Nakamura and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral will be held Saturday morning at 11:30 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 12:00 pm in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, Pastor Emeritus. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Friday from 4-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
