Miss Pauline A. Klys
Herkimer - Miss Pauline A. Klys, 88, formerly of 227 King St. passed away Thursday, February 3, 2005 in Valley Health Services.
She was born in Middleville on August 27, 1916, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Caroline Skrypek Klys. She attended Middleville and Herkimer schools and graduated from Herkimer High School. She was at one time employed at the Air Station, Oakland, Ca. and later by Savage Arms, Utica. Pauline was later employed as a clerk for Herkimer Chief, Main St. Herkimer for many years until her retirement in 1987. She was a Communicant of Sts. Anthony And Joseph Church.
Pauline is survived by one sister, Jennie Lowell of Herkimer; her brother in law, Frank Paratore of Frankfort, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by predeceased two sisters, Stella Paratore and Josephine Richie.
Her funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 AM in Sts. Anthony And Joseph Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato. Spring interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In keeping with Pauline's wishes there will be no public calling hours and please omit floral offerings. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer.
