Uncle Gary you where one of the brightest people we knew, and also the most caring, giving, loving, helping of others along with being a very fun loving person. You where always there by anybody's side to help care for them no matter what they needed. We will always remember all your help with our son Chad and Pat and Pats dad when they where fighting cancer, and the list of people you helped is endless. Bless you and may the Great Spirit care for you as you did for others.
You have two little girls who miss you and loved you and still think of you often, they are Delaney and Paisley Francisco.
Love and prayer, R.I.P.
Your loving niece Pat her husband Kip Garlock and their son Chad Garlock

Gary and Frank were friends who shared laughs and tears for forty years and I knew him through Frank for almost that long. Gary and I seemed to share a bond and spent hours talking about our respective careers in human services, his in social work and mine in nursing. We shared many laughs and more than a few poignant moments. It was my privilege to spend his last days with him and thanked him for his trust. One of the days I will never forget was near the end when he said he would like to go out for a smoke. He couldn't get there alone but between the two of us we made it. He sat on a chair with his face turned up to the sun and the most peaceful, contented smile spread across his face. I was happy for him and it was such a gift to me. The last years of my career had been as a hospice nurse and I was thankful to be able to be with him. So, while we miss him, and will always miss him, I carry that peaceful picture of him in my heart. We loved him.

Gary was first my mentor and then my friend for over 30 years. He was such a kind , gentle and caring man. He was committed to our social work profession and the families he worked with. Gary had a wonderful sense of humor and he loved making others feel good. I will always treasure the time that I had with him. You were an angel on earth who is now flying high in heaven. I will always keep him close to my heart and smile when I think of my dear friend.

Gary was Social Worker at HES when I was teaching there. He was a good friend and wonderful in working with the children. We often talked and enjoyed good times as his office was close to my classroom.
Working at Basloe Library, Gary was a favorite patron of our staff. He visited often and always had time to chat.
He will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

Gary was a dear friend while we were in graduate school together over 40 years ago. He was an excellent social worker and a kind, caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. I am so sorry we lost touch in recent years. My thoughts are with you...
