Mrs. Mary E. Chard Frankfort - Mrs. Mary E. Chard, 84, of 102 First Ave passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Dolgeville, NY on March 14, 1920, the daughter of the late Rosario and the late Edith Gallo Barretta. She was married to Francis Sparky Chard on October 4, 1941 in St. Joseph´s Church, Dolgeville. Mr. Chard passed away on September 29, 1984. Mary was at one time employed by State St. Mill. She was later employed as an Assembler for M D S, Herkimer for many years until her retirement in 1972. She was a Commincant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church. Mary was known as the foundation for her family, always being there for them in good and hard times. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by three daughters & two sons in law, Frances Butch & George Gonyea, Phyllis Miles and Rosemary & John Harmon all of Frankfort; her special cousin, Netty Annutto of Syracuse; her extended family, Francine & Ken Ashe of Frankfort; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandson, Scott Gonyea on December 2, 1996, one brother, Salvatore Barretta in 1936 and one sister, Josephine Barretta in 1920. Her funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, Pastor Emeritus. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Monday from 4-8 at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
