I am truly sorry for the loss of Uncle Leo. I have many fond memories of visits to his home and family gatherings on birthdays, holidays and picnics at the lake. He was a rock with a soft heart. My condolences to Aunt Marie, Ann Marie, Leo, Kathy, John and grandchildren.

My heart goes out to Marie, Ann Marie, Kathy, Leo and my dear friend John. I would really enjoy Leo and Marie's annual trips to Cape Cod... and our dinners where Leo would tell his gardening stories and share all kinds of secrets about his kids!
His legacy will live on in his children and his grandchildren...he has been at the helm of a very large family and taught them all everything they need to thrive in this world.
Great job Leo!!

Uncle Leo used to call me "Johnson" which I always liked. He was humorous and tough and a good disciplinarian. Whenever us kids would misbehave, our mom would say that she will tell Uncle Leo..This struck a note of fear in us and we quickly stopped misbehaving. He was gregarious af family parties and somewhat outspoken. He saw one of my cousins piling on so much food on a plate and jived her about "eyes bigger than her stomach". One fond memory was in 1970 when we spent New Year's Eve at Uncle Leo and Aunt Marie's house and saw on TV one of the Apollo missions when they approached the Moon.

Uncle Leo was a very special man and he taught me so much when I was growing up or which I carried throughout my entire life such as gardening, fitness, working with tools and of course his love for garlic and tomatoes. I also enjoyed his war stories. He was truly loved and he will be truly missed but he will live in our hearts forever.
