Wade has been sober since April 1, 1987 amd was active as a volunteer at Mohawk and Midstate Correction bringing AA and NA to the facilities. He loved helping young men and women and was instrumental in Camp Youth Upgrade, Genesee St., Peewee Boxing, Rome and the 700 Club on Court St.
He was at one time employed as a rail installer for the Railroad; Pettibone, Rome; as a Purchaser for Univac, Ilion Lumber and as an installer for IMI, KY. He was the owner and operator of Cindy's Palace, Bleecker ST., Utica for many years. His greatest love was being a self employed carpenter throughout the area.
