Victor J. Circhirillo

 

Victorville, CA. - Victor J. Circhirillo, 88, of Victorville, CA formerly of Frankfort passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 in his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Frankfort, New York on October 31, 1929, the son of the late Joseph and Mamie Congelo Circhirillo. He attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort High School with the class of 1948. He was married to Eugenia Zongrone on November 10, 1956 in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, Utica. Victor was employed as a Camera Man for CBS News and Sixty Minutes, Hollywood, CA for many years until his retirement 1985. He was a professional Saxophone player and a member of the Musicians Union.

Victor is survived by his beloved wife, Eugenia; one daughter and son in law, Lisa and David Christian; four grandchildren, Breana and her husband, Travis Steege, Nicole, Jesse and Joseph; three great granddaughters, Taylor, Lily and Brielle and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Marc Circhirillo in 1994; six brothers, Saverio Circhirillo, Anthony Circhirillo, Joseph Circhirillo, SSGT. Sam Circhirillo US Army KIA WWll April 2, 1945, Steve Circhirillo and Nicholas Circhirillo and three sisters, Sophie Circhirillo, Anna Circhirillo and Mary Petrell.

His funeral will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort, later this spring. There will be no calling hours. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J.Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Frankfort.
