Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one.
Although I never met Ray, I feel like I've known him through my husband Alan. Alan always made sure he visited Ray and they really hit it off! The time that Alan went to his room at the masonic home to surprise him by hanging a picture for him on his wall when he wasn't there, was just ever so touching. Ray wanted more than anything to see that picture daily, as if it was when he lived home. And the moments when all he wanted was to breath fresh air outside and Alan wheeled him downstairs to park him under the tree and feel the wind blowing on his face. Oh how he would light up when his wife came to see him, Ida you certainly were the love of his life. Alan always informed me of how wonderful you both were. Those are just some of the comments I would hear when I would get home from work at night. God Bless You Ray and may you rest in peace.

Mrs. DeLuke and Buzzy,
I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. DeLuke's passing. Outside of my immediate family, I had more respect for him than anyone. I really enjoyed his coaching over the years!!! The world is a much less better place now, but Heaven is much greater!!!

My sincere condolences during this most difficult time. Although death has taken your dear loved one away, the many happy memories you shared will remain with you. May you find some comfort in the promises of our heavenly father, Jehovah, recorded at John 5 vs 28, 29 and Revelation 21 vs 3, 4. I pray that the Almighty God will give you peace and help you to endure. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Ida, we are so very sorry to hear of Hunch's passing. He was a great man who will be missed by all whose lives he graced. He was very kind to us all those years ago, and I will always remember him fondly. He, Marco and Tate removed many barriers for me when Utzie got sick and died, which allowed me to focus on the important things left in life, which were the 5 of us. I could never repay all the kindnesses, or thank him enough. I pray that in time, the memories you made together will bring a feeling of warmth, and a smile when you remember him. You and your family are in our prayers! God Bless!

I would describe Hunch as a man with a personality that was larger than life. When I was 9 or 10 years old I met my friend Buzzy’s father and I expressed that a bit differently. I asked Buzzy “Who’s that big nosed, movie star with the dark sunglasses”. Hunch got a kick out of that and never let me forget it. A man with great energy can now rest in peace.
