"Uncle" Sam, you and "Aunt" Dorothy were the best Godparents anyone could ask for. Thank you for all the wonderful memories growing up in Frankfort, thereafter, and for the rest of my life. I can only assume you and your wife are sitting around a table with other departed friends and relatives chit-chatting and enjoying homemade baked goods. : )
You were one from humanity's best generation and I shall miss you deeply. I will continue to follow your guiding light.
Vita, Denise, Marie, and Lew, my deepest condolences to you all. I truly wish I could have been there in person for the services.

Sam and I were privileged to have known Sam and Dorothy. They were a caring and lovely couple and before Dorothy's passing we spent some memorable times with them. Lew, remember the time we had dinner at your house, soup, salad, and chicken riggies (the best). Everything was so delicious! Lew, hope you remember the rest. Your mom sure could cook and bake (loved her Christmas cookies). You and your siblings were so blessed to have fantastic parents.

Sometime after my family moved to Frankfort when I was in elementary school in the early 1960"s, my parents became acquainted with the Licari family. Both Sam and Dorothy were very friendly and welcoming. My younger brother and I were around their kids ages. We both enjoyed playing with their kids when we would go over to visit them. Growing up in Frankfort, I recall Sam as being a good father role model. He loved his children. He was also a loving and dedicated husband. I wish his children peace and comfort knowing that Sam is now back together with Dorothy in heaven.
