Kirsten and family,
Our deepest condolences. Mike was an amazing friend all throughout high school. He always had a smile on his face, and always looked on the bright side of things. He never seemed to let things 'get to him'. Mike is gone way too soon, but he will never be forgotten. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers, along with the entire Vivacqua family.

What heart breaking news to receive about a dear friend from long ago. Mike was a special guy and one of my best friends in HS...memories are flooding back. We shared many grand adventures and I will forever cherish what a sweet, funny, caring friend he was. When I shared the sad news with my family, my brother shared a memory of Mike that really speaks to just what a kind guy he was. We didn't have cable in HS and Mike knew my brother loved sports so Mike recorded this special basketball event and gave it to my brother. You often don't recognize the great impact someone had on your life until later on and looking back, I now realize how blessed I was, and what an honor it was to have someone like Mike as a LOYAL friend for those 6 years.
