When I was a kid, Joe was my local store hero! He sold all kinds of fishing stuff and things 10 year old kids really liked. Like firecrackers! The good ones. He was so fun to talk to and always asked about our moms and dads. Always looked forward to go spend a nickel or dime there.
God Bless you Joe, Rest In Peace. Sympathy to the family.

Dear Aunt Bea, Fran, Jamie, Dominic, and families. Chris and I send our love and prayers to you each and all.
We are hoping to watch the online service. Uncle Joe made a difference to family, friends, and community. One of my dearest memories is seeing your family at mass with Uncle Joe entering in with such sincerity. These times make a lasting impression on children. Be encouraged as you remember together, a life well lived. Marie and Chris

To Aunt Bea, Francine, Jamie, Dominick, and All the Family,
It was with sad hearts that we heard of the passing of Uncle Joe....a great man in so many ways we never knew about. The tribute to him was so beautiful. What a life story ~ to know he was a war hero earning 4 Bronze Stars ~ and then going on in his humble way to build a beautiful life afterwards for his family. I remember so well the beautiful bride, my Aunt Bea, on their wedding day. They worked so hard together over the years ~ I remember Uncle Joe driving the white truck early on when visiting their home in Frankfort ~ always one of my most favorite places to go.... then the Store, which was a mainstay of Frankfort; in my mind's eye, I clearly remember a little Jamie sitting on the stairs with a teddy bear. His dedication to family, hard work, and faith was abundantly clear; and the legacy he leaves behind will live on forever. May you take comfort knowing how much he was loved and respected, and that his spirit will forever live on in your hearts each day in all of you.
