Thank you Uncle Ben for the times you stopped by each year to deliver personally, the Humane Society's t-shirts for the Mutt Strut , it meant a lot to me, to see your smiling face and laughter. I remember when we were kids always being over Grandma Juliano’s house the whole family. I remember on Thanksgiving we always had to wait for the men to come home from hunting before we could eat. Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Benedict?
A: Ben was a second father to me. He was there if I needed anything, and was there when my father passed away.
He is a truly good person from the first time you meet him. Always there with either a joke or a lesson to learn from.
I will always have a place in my heart for Ben and everything he had done for me.
I will miss him everyday, but I know he is still within my heart.

When I think of Uncle Ben, I think of how comfortable he made me feel. He was so easy to talk and he just lit up the room. You always knew you were loved when Uncle Ben and Robin were around. The feeling of course was mutual a hundred times over. I know Uncle Ben loved sports and the Yankees. I remember them being down when the Yankees were playing the Mets in the World Series. The Mets were mine and Ruben's team. A friendly rivalry and ribbing was on that day! The Yankees went on to win the Series but it was a lot of light hearted fun watching it together! We are thankful for that memory and many many more over the years. Uncle Ben was one in a million and our Families were Blessed and are bonded Forever!

When Benny and Robin came down to Jersey I could always tell by looking at the license plate at cousin Joe's house. Oh Benny is down I would think to myself. I have to stop in. When I was able to stop in and say hi he and Robin were always glad to see me. We would sit at the kitchen table and catch up. After being caught up on family talk we then talked about our extended family of pets. We would exchange pictures and stories and compare our pets behaviors. I would talk about Angel (my daughter's German Shepard) and Ben would talk about his shepards as well. It was nice to talk to a fellow dog lover! I will miss him! He is always in my prayers. Love you Benny.

When we think about Uncle Ben, first and for most we think of Robin. For Ant and I, we rarely spoke of one without the other. To us it was like seeing our favorite couple in the world. Uncle Ben (and Robin) enjoyed coming to visit here in NJ. Whether it was at a fancy casino or just hanging out in the house or outside in the gazebo with a beer and a cigarette, it was always about the company! It was about Family, and Best Friends all rolled into one. It isn't too often that people can say that family members were both! It is a special bond that we all cherished and will continue to cherish. Meeting up at the Casino for lunch ,laughs and slot playing was always a great time! Goodbyes were always hard though. Uncle Ben gave the best hugs and had the biggest smile when he saw us coming. It was genuine and a mutual feeling we all shared! Then there was the relaxing times at the house. Dinner was usually spaghetti and meatballs with a loaf of Italian bread some wine and beer with a salad using fresh Jersey tomatoes! Many hours were spent under the gazebo with some beer and good conversation. Our dad would sometimes worry if the conversation was too loud and would have us try to continue the conversations inside lol There are so many stories of just happy times and just enjoying each other's company. Uncle Ben will be missed on so many levels. Our latest thing was being part of the Gumba Club on the Las Vegas Slots app. Uncle Ben had so much money and an array of cars and different pets! I would tease him being my luck is never that good. I told him that I just wanted to win a bicycle! Everyone had a car but me! I hope you are playing those slot machines in the sky Uncle Ben maybe with my mom! We miss you and will keep you close to our hearts Always!! Love you both Joanne and Ant (your NJ Family)
