“Uncle Jimmy”, even though it has been years since I have been to New York, my heart aches to hear the news. So many of my childhood memories were with my dads best friend, you. Jim was a great friend. I looked forward to seeing Jim every time I made it back to Frankfort to see my family. One of my highlights was spending the evening at Thurston's with Jim sitting at our table. His generosity was unparalleled and infectious. An environment that will never be matched. I played golf with Jim an untold number of times and every time was a round to remember. "My __lls are burning" was his favorite saying and one that I will always remember. Rest in peace, Jim!

Alsante Family,
Having knowing Jimmy for over fifty years is a tribute to his ability to being a true friend and brother veteran from our army disconnected the Big Red One. We coached many young boys in baseball through the years in Frankfort who today are fathers and accomplished leaders within different states in different communities , we enjoyed these accomplishments and smiled when these young men thanked us for being their coaches.
Jimmy did many good acts while being the Town Of Frankfort Road Supervisor and was thanked many times over by the people living in the Town Of Frankfort, winters were terrible but Jimmy and his crew kept the roads open and pulled many a stranded vehicle out of harms way.
Jimmy loved his family and grandchildren and was always praying them, he called this his "Bragging Rights", at our many coffee and lunch engagements.
Jim was true and friend and I thank him for the many years he was with me and his kind acts when I Loss loved one's and the many conversations we had about Vietnam. Rest In Peace my Good Friend and win those poker hands and get a few whole in one's.

My heart is hurting from hearing of Jimmy's passing.
He has been such a good friend for many years Jimmy was a good man whenever someone needed something he was right there to help He helped me many years when times were tough for me He would give me advise and even brought me to places I have never been.
He loved his family, his children and his wife Roslie talked about them all the time I was so impressed with him because he would do something different for the holidays every year with his children and family
I never got the chance to say" see you later Jimmy" and will miss all the talks we have had. I pray for all the family at this sad time

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Jim had a lust for life and I'm sure he would want us to celebrate his life with lots of laughter . He loved his family and friends immensely and always enjoyed spending time with them. He was a great cousin to me and especially as we were growing up he kept an eye out to be sure I was okay during any situation. You can be very proud of all the accomplishments he attained during his lifetime.
