To the entire Loomis Family,
Sincere Sympathy for the loss of Emmy, I have many fond memories of years past, while we were still in school, I just will always remember her for her sweet, gentle personality, I saw her at a Millers Mills ice cream social probably 20 years ago, and we were able to chat and catch up. I am so sorry for the loss you will all have to endure, especially her daughters, they have to be far to young to loose a Mother, and I will pray that they learned so so much from their Mother, that they will know how to go on and become even stronger , beautiful ,productive women. God Bless all of you,
Sincerely,
Pattie Crave Young Roberts

We love and will miss our dear Emmy. We became friends with Emmy at Cape Cod and enjoyed her friendship for over 25 years. We enjoyed our talks on the beach each summer and enjoyed seeing her daugthers grow up from being young girls to strong young women. Emmy loved her girls and gave so much to them. She was a role model for all of us. She was a genuine, authentic woman who shared her love, grace and friendship in such a way that everyone felt better for knowing her.We were the same age, and from all of the people that I have known, Emmy was one of the nicest people that I have ever known. She was thoughtful, intelligent, and a great human being. Even though we did not see her the last few years, she was always in our hearts. She was so kind and such a joy to be around. She always seemed to care.
Emmy, we will miss you so much. To her daughters, mother, and family, we send you our prayers for peace in knowing that Emmy is in a better place. She was an angel on earth and is now an angel in heaven.
Emmy, we love you and you will always hold a special place in our heart!!!
Love, Sharon, Kay, and Baby Bear, your friends from Baltimore

Emmy was a kind and gentle woman and a honor to know her. Memories of when Ivy and Haley were little and my son, Jonathan would be at his Aunt Sues next door and they would all play together. Emmy always welcomed him into her home to have lunch, watch a movie with the girls or provide supplies for a their "forts" they were making. And she was a great Scrabble player too! She will be missed. Keeping the family in our prayers.

It was a pleasure knowing Emmy. I have many fond memories of teaching Ivy piano lessons and then visiting with Emmy and Hailey when they came to pick her up. I'm so glad to have known Ivy and Hailey all through the many school functions and Emmy was the best supporter always proud of the girls. I always admired Emmy's spirit and kindness to others. Hugs to you, Ivy and Hailey. I know you will miss her. My condolances to all the other family members. She was such a joy.

I was lucky enough to get to know Emmy when we both worked at Boces. She was a warm, compassionate, and overall wonderful woman and human being. Emmy was our go-to girl so many times at work. My condolences to her family, who I know she loved and adored. The world could use more people like Emmy.

Heather, Ivy and Hayley,
I was so sad to hear of your moms passing. What a wonderful angel she was here on earth. I remember when I sang in a concert at school with Mr. VanPatten. Your mom took the time the next day to phone me and tell me what a wonderful job I had done and what a beautiful voice I had, What a sweet woman, and I'll never forget her kindness. How lucky heaven is to have her. Although she will be missed greatly, we will all see her again.
Hugs to you all, you are in my thoughts and prayers!!

Emmy, was such a beautiful soul! She was always more than willing to be "mom" to anyone her daughters brought home. I can remember many fond memories of sitting in the kitchen, talking to Emmy while she made dinner. The time spent with her was always fun. She thrived for the well being of her children. Raising 3 grown women who show her strength, and zest for life. Emmy- May you be free of the pain of this life. You are now one of God's special Angels! Thank you for being such an important influence of my life and at times my "second mom". I will miss your beautiful face. God Bless!

What an example Emmy has set for us - to be kind whenever possible, to share what you have freely, to do for others without strings attached, only the satisfaction of knowing that you have made someone you care about happy, to appreciate what others do for you, no matter how small it may seem. Also, there were her pithy observations that sometimes surprised us, but were always real. I love you Em, and can't believe there will be no more cards, books, Monopoly, roadtrips, hugs, food, silliness or tears for us. My heart goes out to everyone in her family, especially her daughters, who Emmy was so proud of, and who are like her in so many ways. Kelly Caskey

Emmy was the best sister anyone ever could have. She was always there when anyone needed anything. One of her favorite things to do was to write to people telling them how great they are ,when in fact she was the great one. She was a great mother and brought up three beautiful daughters that she was very proud of,and should be. I miss her so much but i know she is in heaven and being taken care of. I LOVE YOU EMMY -
