Frankfort - Mrs. Donna J. Bronga, 63, of East Orchard St. passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009. She was born in Utica on July 26, 1946, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian Jeanlouis La Salle and she attended Utica schools. She was married to Frank Bronga on July 2, 1982 in Utica. Donna was employed as a steward for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 502, Ilion- Frankfort for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of the V.F.W Post #502, Frankfort - Ilion Auxiliary, American Legion Post #845 Auxiliary and the St. Francis Di Paolo Society Auxiliary. Donna is survived by her husband, Frank Bronga; three daughters and sons in law, Tina and Paul McBee Sr. of Utica, Tammy and Dan McCarthy of Deerfield and Joleen and Matt Volz of Texas; one brother and sister in law, Joseph and Dolores LaSalle of New Hartford; her mother in law, Rosalie Bronga of Utica; her step sisters, Mary Ann Sierson of Clinton and Carolyn and her husband, Richard Greenwood of Utica; her very special friend, Karin Shannon of Frankfort; six grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Elaine King and Johann Powers and her step father, Roger Newhouse. Her funeral will be held Monday morning at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St., Frankfort where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the V.Rev. Anthony Barratt, pastor and assisted by Deacon James Bower. Interment will be in Oak View Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
