He married his high school sweetheart, Muriel L. Krick on August 26, 1950 in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Muriel passed away on May 3, 1981.
Frank played all sports while at Frankfort High School. He played basketball for Terzo's Chief and in the Utica MUNY League. He also played semi pro baseball and with the Frankfort Vets Semi Pro Football team. Frank was one of the founders of Frankfort Youth Association.
