Dearest Julie, My memories of you go back to when our children were small. You were always a happy fun loving person with a quick smile and wit having many adventures to relay to your friends. You were the first one in line to be of help when the need came and give of yourself, especially your wonderful cooking delights. The cookbook you co-authored is a masterpiece and one that I use regularly. I moved away many years ago but will always remember your kindness to your friends. My dear cousin Julie: I'm glad that we were able to spend some time with each other during the years, even though we were separated by the miles. I will always remember you as "Mary Poppins" to me! You were always so vibrant, happy and athletic. My son Erick remembers you, too, when you took him to the park when you came to visit us in California. He had a nice time with you. I thank God that we were able to talk in your last days here on earth, and I feel extremely grateful to know that you are with our Lord.
