Sometimes we get a very special patient and family that we feel a special bond with. I want you to know that from the time Reid first came to the fourth floor you were always in our thoughts, and we were so happy that he came back to our floor after his first surgery. Please know that we did everything we could for him. and I am sorry that it wasn't more. Although there is nothing I can say to make you feel better at this time, please know that you can call to talk anytime you feel the need. Reid was one of our patients that we will not forget. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Reid's untimely passing. I worked with him years ago at the "Pin". Every Thursday was our "Chinese" lunch day. He spoke of his family often and was extremely proud of his kids. He shared many stories of his family vacations & trips-I could tell you guys meant the world to him. He was truly a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
