It's been many years since I last saw Alex. His gas station was down the street from my husband, Jerry's place of business on what was then, Main St. in Frankfort. I remember his great smile and congeniality..... Always cheerful and ready to lend a hand....a good guy.
I extend my heartfelt sympathies to all of his family. No matter how long we have our loved ones with us, it's still hard to say goodbye. God bless you and be with you in your time of sorrow.
You're all in my prayers.

Vick, my deepest sympathies on hearing about your Dad. You and your family are in my prayers. Your Dad was always fond of reminding my Dad that he was actually an Italian in a Jew's costume... that and feeding him hot peppers so that your Dad could watch my Dad's face turn as red as a traffc light! Also calling my Dad and with a high voice telling him that he had a sick Zebra that needed a drink... that was Alex Oriole!!!

Alex and I are 1st cousins and while I haven't seen him in many years I remember how funny he use to be. When I was in my teens I would always see Alex around town and he would lovingly lecture me about my driving. Alex always had a good word to say about everyone. To my cousins I say 'God Bless you all' and I will be praying for you and Alex. To his son Vic, may God help you in this time of need. I'm sure your dad is in a better place now. He and Joe Kinney will probably reopen the old Hollywood Theater in Heaven and they can once again sneak me in when I get there. Love you all.

Vicky, I will always remember Uncle Alex as "pecks bad boy". He was always the prankster. Although I have not seen him in so many years, I will always remember visiting his home on the hill and Angel, that wonderful bulldog that he loved so much. He was always promising to buy me a pony when I was small. I do so wish my Dad was well enough to travel because I know how much he wants to be there right now with his family. Our love to you and the family. Uncle Alex is with Uncle Shiny, Uncle Joey, Aunt Alma and Pam and he is at peace.

Vic and Family,
We are saddened to hear about Uncle Alex. It's been so long since we've seen him or other members of the family. One of the down sides of living so far away is not being able to get together with family at times like these. Uncle Alex and your family will be in our prayers.
