Dear Mary Ellen and Family: We were so sorry to just hear of the loss of your Mom. The loss of a parent is extremely difficult to deal with, but especially so when that parent has been such a big part of so many happy memories. Your Mom seemed like a beautiful person both inside and out and I am sure she is smiling down on all of you for all the joy that you brought to her life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Love, Mary-Jo & Rich

I was sorry to hear of Mamie's passing. My heart goes out to all the family. It's very hard to lose a parent. I'm glad I got to know Mamie when I helped care for her. I remember her watching Mass on Sunday mornings and she would start singing. Also sing when a musical was on. I always thought she had such a beautiful face. Carol P

Dear Jim(Mutt), Mary Ellen, Judy, Liz and Mike,
I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's death. I always liked to visit and talk to her. She was a sweetheart! I remember all of her greeat cooking and baking. She was wonderful. She had the most contagious laugh and such a beautiful singing voice. We all had fun in the old neighborhood.
She and your Dad and my Dad are probably talking about the good old days in the neighborhood.
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jimmy, Mary Ellen, Judy, Michael and Liz,
I will always remember Aunt Mamie just as she appears in this beautiful picture. I don't ever remember her without a smile and warm, loving laughter. She had the voice of an angel when she sang, especially her beautiful rendition of the Ave Maria. I regret not ever taping that beautiful sound. When we would walk in your side door, we always knew we would be greeted with a hug, smile and wonderful food. Some of my family's favorite foods are recipes Aunt Mamie gave me--especially her stuffed cherry peppers and her pitengues (sorry for the spelling!) I am sorry that I am so far away from all of you right now. Your words of love and support brought such great comfort to me when my father and mother passed away. Please know we are with you and wish you peace and days filled with beautiful memories of your mother. She is now at peace with "Uncle Smokey". Take care of yourselves and know we are thinking of you.
All our love,
Joyce, Kevin, Jessie, Casey and Micah
