Mrs. Mamie C. Lille Frankfort - Mrs. Mamie C. Lille, 83, of 218 Mann St passed away Friday, February 1, 2008 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. She was born in Frankfort on July 3, 1924, the daughter of the late Frank and Sophie Bono Reina. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School with the class of 1942. Mamie was married to Dominic Smokey Lille on September 28, 1947 in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Mr. Lille passed away on November 18, 2000. Mamie was a Librarian at the Frankfort Library and also worked in the cafeteria at Frankfort Schuyler schools for many years. In 1988, Mamie and Smokey were the king and queen of Frankfort's 125th anniversary celebration. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Her life was filled with music and she was a member and soloist of the church choir for many years. Mamie's life revolved around her family and she loved having them at her home and especially feeding them. Her children will always remember her cooking skills that she passed down to them, especially her Sunday morning meatballs, her cucidates at Christmas, her Easter meat pies and her Thanksgiving Day pies. Mamie is survived by three daughters and one son in law, Mary Ellen Lille of Rochester, Judy Laine of Schodack, Elizabeth & Greg Bello of New Hartford; two sons and one daughter in law, James & Linda Lille of Gansevoort and Michael Lille of Frankfort; two brothers and sisters in law, Angelo & Frances Reina of Frankfort and Frank & Lucille Reina of Utica; her in laws, Eleanor Reina Tamburro and Rose Cooker; five grandchildren, Brian Lille and his fiancée, Jill Fields, Mary Elizabeth and her husband, Brandon Querbes, Kyle Laine, Kaley Laine and Gregory John Bello Jr and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Sam Reina and Joseph Reina and one son in law, Brittan Laine Her funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:00 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, Pastor Emeritus. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-9 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
