Obituary of Max W. Ernest

Little Falls - Mr. Max Ernest of Overlook Rd passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Lewistown, PA on March 5, 1952, the son of Max Wayne and Mary Esther Bossinger Ernest Sr. He attended schools there and graduated from Juniata High school with the class of 1970 and later attended Penn State University. He was married to Kathy Reese on February 23, 1974 in Lewistown, Pa. Kathy passed away in February 21, 1980. He was at one time employed as the Plant Manager of Duofold Corporation and later was the owner and operator of Reon Alpha Micro Support, Little Falls for many years
Max is survived by one son, Matthew Ernest of Hillsboro, OR; his father & mother, Max & Mary Ernest Sr of Mifflintown, PA; his maternal grandmother, Ethel Bossinger of Mifflintown, PA; one brother & sister in law, Mark & Andrea Ernest of Knoxville, MD; one sister & brother in law, Eleanor & Angie Smith of Owego, NY; his mother in law, Dora Reese of Lewistown, PA; his in laws, Dixie & John Grosz, Sheree & Mike Goss and Mick Reese, all of PA and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
His funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 am in Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 S. Third St, Mifflintown, Pa. with the Rev. William N. Esborn and Rev. Andrea Ernest, officiating. Interment will be in St. Stephen's Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service to be held Monday evening 5:30 to 7:30 at Glory Days, 248 N. Main St. Herkimer. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Max's memory maybe made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 S. Third St. Mifflintown, PA 17059 or St. Elizabeth's Medical Center Foundation Heart Institute, 2206 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13501. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or at the memorial service. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer.
