Dear Steve, Jimmy, JoLynn, and Family,
I was so saddened to hear the news about your beautiful Lydia. She was so dear to all who knew her. As neighbors, when we were kids, and the times we got to visit when I would be in town, the friendly, warm neighbors we knew as children, never changed. Please accept my sincere sympathy as well as that from my whole family, especially my mother. Lydia was one in a million and I know that the sweetest memories will keep her close in your heart. It is indeed a loss for those here, who loved her, but heaven has received a wonderful gift.
With love,
Susan Deasy Cardinal

To Steve, Jim & Mary, JoLynn & Massimo & grandchildren... We are so very sorry for your lost. Lydia was a good person and will be truly missed by all who knew her. There was never a time or place that when she saw us that she stoped to talk to us. We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the services. Daniel made Empire States - a form of the Olympics - and we will be away from Wednesday to Saturday. We again are so very sorry. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you this weekend. God Bless Dan, Denise, Daniel and David Mabbett

Additional Obit Info
Lydia was at one time employed by Derby's Sports Wear, then as a Teacher's Aide for Herkimer County BOCES and later for OTB.
Lydia enjoyed life and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Her world revolved around her grandchildren that she loved and adored as they did her.
We couldn't have asked for a better wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sisiter in law, mother in law and friend. She was "perfect." Lydia will truly be missed and will remain in out hearts forever.
