Where to begin, I am so sorry to hear of Dawn Ray's passing. I knew her from years ago, when Donny was in the alligators. Then got to know Mark and Steve, (bear) while working at AFSA! We had a lot of mutual friends but were pretty close at one time way back when.I am just shocked and don't really know what to say except to know her was to love her! She was a great person. My condolences to all of Dawn's family. Dawn and I grew up together, and were in the same class in high school. I have a picture of her, Donnie, Stephen, Gary, Noreen and Darrin with myself and my sister, Diana. We were all gathered around my grandfather celebrating his birthday at Aunt Judy's house, many many years ago. Ou lives and choices take us in different directions, but Aunt Judy has kept us all connected. I'm so very sorry for your loss, and will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Mark, although you do not know me I was one of Dawn's good friends from high school. We graduated together from the class of 1981 at Oppenheim-Ephratah. We spent plenty of days together all through high school at each other's homes. Although we lost contact with each other shortly after graduation I thought of her often. When I heard of her passing I was truly shocked. Dawn was also a fun loving person who liked to have a good time. My deepest sympathy to you and your family for your loss.

Mark and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine this world without the laughter and joy(and craziness) of my dear friend. Although we lost touch since my move, I have held her and her family dear in my heart. I cannot express my sadness for you. I am so very shocked to hear of Dawn's passing. Wanted to send my condolences to all of Dawn's family. I was a year ahead of Dawn at OE. Took many business classes with her. I can remember cramming for a bookeeping test pulling an all nighter calling each other on the phone. I went into the test with hives, Dawn was a nervous wreck.....we passed. Dawn was so frustrated she asked Mr. K (our teacher) if she could go outside to vent off steam......she walked out the door and screamed on the top of her lungs walked back in and continued to take the test!! I will always remember Dawn's wit, infectious laughter and ALWAYS a smile on her face. This is how I will remember Dawn and I hope fond memories, love from your family and time will heal the pain you are feeling now.
