Mrs. Alsante was truly a Rose. I have very fond memories from my childhood on Elm Street and the time I spent over to the Alsante house. Rose was someone who was always in good spirits and loved to laugh. You would too in a household with Jerry and his three sisters! My sympathies to the family and to all of her friends.

I was so sorry to read about the passing of Rose Marie. She and I were neighbors in Ilion many years ago and our children used to play together. She was such a nice friend and caring mother. May God be with you in your time of sorrow.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your mother Rose. I'm sorry that I can't make the calling hours but I am unable to drive at night anymore. She was a wonderful person. I remember Debbie and I had Dawn as a teacher at Barringer Road School. I was also a member of the AARP and knew your mother then. I'm sure this will be a big loss to you. Love, Frances Moore

To Debbie, Donna, Dawn, Jerry & families,
So sorry about Rose. It was such a shock to learn
the news of her illness & death. She was a very
nice, personable lady. My mom (Nina) will miss
her; (as well as I.) She was a good friend to our
mom & I had the chance to visit w/her several times & we enjoyed talking about different subjects. Rose came to our home a few years ago
w/mom & their group of friends & another time we
all went to the Otesaga for brunch (Dawn was w/us)& we had a wonderful time.
We'll certainly miss her but we know deep in our
hearts she is w/god & her loved ones that are w/
him as well. Time does heal the sorrow.
God Bless You, Rose!!!
