Uncle Joe was my Godfather. My mother is Emily Bootier, Joe's littlest sister. A story she loved to tell me about was how her big brother Joe used to dress up as Santa Claus at Christmas time and visit her. She never knew it was her very own brother - she always wondered "where's Joe?" when Santa Claus was there - "How come he always misses Santa's visit?"
I remember visiting my Uncle Joe and Aunt Frances's house. They had a magical backyard filled with all kinds of good things to eat - rhubarb I could pick and dip in sugar, raspberries and black raspberries, the best tomatoes I've ever had.......how I loved playing in that backyard.
My mom called to tell me of my uncle's death this past Sunday everying. She said he was the best brother there ever could have been - and she looks forward to seeing him again, along with their mother, father, sisters Beanie and Josephine - when the "circle is unbroken."
So since my mom doesn't have a computer - I'll say for her, "I love you Joe - save a place for me!"

Myself my wife and our dog-Kiki....LOVED to see JOE walking down the street with "MOLLY"...his VERY SPECIAL friend/dog. He and MOLLY loved each other greatly! He always had a special, warm and friendly smile and words for everyone! He will be missed GREATLY by us, but I'd have to believe we'll meet him again, with Molly...up above in God's Kingdom!
God bless you Joe.....see you later.
